Yorkshire Vineyards
Yorkshire is a rapidly expanding vineyard region in the UK. We now have 19 commercial vineyards in the region and roughly 125 acres under vine, making over 100,000 bottles of wine. We want to share their stories and bring attention to the amazing wines produced in this region. Meet the family run businesses, who all have a passion for Yorkshire wines. Amazing Wines
Yorkshire is a relatively new kid on the block for English Wines, but is already showing it can produce wonderful wines which are winning awards. We have great wine makers who work hard to bring quality and consistency to their wines. The white wines have been building a reputation, with Yorkshire leading the way on the use of Solaris, Ortega and Phoenix based wines. One of the regions vineyards won the WineGB Awards Trophy for Best Single Varietal White Wine with their Pinot Gris. Yorkshire Vineyards have maximised traditional methods to create wonderful award winning sparkling wines for classic and new varieties of grapes. Red wines have been created that range of wines, from light bodied easy drinking reds to more complex and bold red wines. The region also continues to innovate with new varieties, such as Souvignier Gris and new styles, such as orange wines.

We have brought together a group of wine experts from the Yorkshire region who regularly commentate or educate on the global and UK wine industry. Each month we publish new articles on Yorkshire Viticulture and Yorkshire wines to bring you facts and figures about our region.
Tours and Events
All the vineyards have numerous events throughout the year including our annual wine & fizz festival in the last week of June to coincide with English Wine week. The vineyards thrive through cellar door visits and vineyard events. Here you can taste the wines, get to meet the makers and experience some beautiful places to relax and have fun.
